1. Mini Khakhra Sandwich
You might have tried the regular Khakhra sandwich at a local chaat shop but here’s the bite-sized version that you can make in a jiffy using Hungrezi’s Khakhra’s and Dips. Take a khakhra stick (you can choose the flavor of your choice) and spread a little of the dip on top. You can, again, choose any dip you like. Sprinkle some finely chopped onions and coriander leaves on top and finish off with a layer of cheese. Complete the mini sandwich by placing another khakhra stick on top.
This easy, delicious finger food is sure to be a winner no matter the occasion. You can have them with tea, or make them in huge batches for a party. If you’re one who loves a crispy sandwich, this recipe is sure to wow your taste buds.
2. Mixture Sabji
This one is an adaptation of Rajasthan’s Sev Tamatar ki Sabji, where instead of the sev, we use mixtures. We highly recommend Hungrezi’s Garam Garlick for this recipe. You’ll know why when you try it for yourself.
Start by heating oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Add chopped green chilli and ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute. To this, add chopped tomatoes and onions, and cook them till the tomatoes go mushy. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Add in water as required and cook until the sabji separates from the side. To this, add another cup of water and bring it to boil. Add the Hungrezi mixture and cook until the ingredients of the mixture go soft. Garnish with a bit of lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
This sabji is a delicious accompaniment to rotis, dosas, idlis and any other breakfast item that needs a side dish.
3. Cheesy Khakhras
We’ve all fallen in love with a yummy plate of crispy nachos that comes with covered in heavenly cheese toppings. Swap the nachos for Hungrezi’s Khakhra Sticks, any flavor of your choice, and we have a whole different food that’s perfect for the games and binge-watching TV shows. It’s super easy and fun to make too! All you have to do is break up the khakhra sticks into halves on a plate. Cover the khakhra sticks with cheddar cheese and top it with Mexican salsa and add cooked corn if you like. Add some more cheese on top and heat it in the microwave until the cheese melts.
This delicious dish is a healthier option for those crazy about nachos, and also makes for great party food.
This list is just the beginning of how you can turn Hungrezi snacks into creative food dishes. great party food with a bit of innovation and a craving for tasty food, the sky’s the limit.
